52 Programs focus on helping kids succeed in school by improving promotion rates and test scores on standardized tests, enhancing the quality of childcare services and increasing PreK literacy.

  • Through language development programs targeting early literacy, 9,248 kids have made steps toward being ready to start kindergarten ready to learn.
  • We helped 37,202 kids with programs proven to support academic achievement.
  • With parent education classes, 117 families have learned how to best prepare their children for school success.

33 Programs help keep families strong through access to services that help improve financial stability and independence through education and support opportunities.

  • We helped families stay together with 79,912 emergency services of food, shelter or clothing.
  • Linking families to resources in the community enabled us to help 12,579 families address their most serious problems.
  • With financial support & education, 963 families improved their financial or emotional health.

38 Programs promote wellness and independence by helping seniors and disabled adults remain in their homes, assisting low-income individuals with healthcare, connecting victims with shelter, and providing rehab counseling, therapy and support groups.

  • Through hot meals, transportation, supervised living and day socialization opportunities, 4,161 people were able to remain independent in their homes.
  • With your support, 32,950 education services helped make your community better informed to make healthy decisions.
  • We helped 22,692 people with healthcare services they wouldn’t have been able to afford and an additional 1,744 people to stabilize serious health conditions to set themselves on the path to recovery.
