The United Way of Central Florida (UWCF) Board of Directors has hired Alan H. Over the five-month period, the selection was narrowed to 20 candidates for initial screenings. An extensive process including phone and face-to-face interviews ensued to identify the top 3 finalists.
“I feel very blessed for the opportunity to join the team of energetic and knowledgeable board members, staff and volunteers at the United Way of Central Florida,” stated Turner. “By continuing and advancing the United Way’s work and focus on the areas of income, education and health, we will be able to create new partnerships, build collaborations, and increase resources and volunteerism throughout Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties.
