Shopping for toys for your child can be overwhelming. When you're trying to find the right toy for your child, think about this rule of thumb: Less is more. The less a toy does, the more opportunity a child has to create and learn from it. Simple toys are easier for children to use, require less supervision and last longer. Beyond being simple, there a few other things you should consider before you bring the toy home:
Be sure to keep potential choking hazards out of children’s reach. Use a paper towel tube to check. If the item is small enough to go in the tube, it's small enough for your child to choke on it.
