Bridge the Gap at Family Fundamentals, our United Way Success By 6 parent resource center, is designed to support our students, families and teachers in reaching their highest developmental, social and academic potential. We do this by inspiring parents, guardians, and teachers to be the best they can be, providing fun enriching activities in a family-friendly environment, and preparing children to enter school ready to succeed.
We create and maintain an environment for learning, while empowering families to participate in and enhance their children’s education. Bridge the Gap promotes student success through parent involvement, professional development for teachers and a print-rich environment committed to the well-being of students. We provide opportunities for children age 3-5, teachers, and parents to learn together.
The Model Classroom instructors are a resource for families and teachers. Remembering that success and learning is different for everyone, we believe families are a child’s first teacher and by working jointly with families, teachers and the community, every child can reach Success By 6!
